Virtalähde Mastering

Virtalähde Mastering is a digital and analogue music mastering facility in Kuhmoinen, Finland, run by Jaakko Viitalähde since 2005. Jaakko specialises in vinyl mastering and lacquer cutting, using a Scully model 601 lathe with the Westrex 3DII cutting head. Virtalähde Mastering is the only lacquer cutting service in Finland besides Timmion, and the client list spans Finnish heavy music, psychedelic rock, folk, electronic, and avant‑garde scenes.
