Tuff Vinyl Japan

Tokyo-based Tuff Vinyl was launched in 2019 by Tuff Beats, a Japanese music label founded in 2004. Using partner  Toyo Recordings for domestic Japanese pressings. Toyo are using the state-of-the-art automatic Viryl WarmTone vinyl press, the only one in the country. Tuff Vinyl commissions lacquer cutting from Nippon Columbia’s cutting studio, Warner Music Mastering, and Mixer’s Lab, which employ some of Japan’s leading lacquer-cutting engineers. Plating is done by RTI in California.
