The Vinyl Factory

The Vinyl Factory is the only major pressing plant in the United Kingdom, and it was once home to both EMI and HMV manufacturing. The Hayes factory is still powered by the utterly unique EMI 1400 Press, pressing standard 12-inch, 10-inch, and 7-inch formats and coloured vinyl, etched or die-cut records, and bespoke editions. They now offer a new vinyl line called Eco-Jazz, which is recycled colour PVC made from the trimmings of pressed colour records.
