Svartagull Hljómplötusmiðja (the Black Gold Record Company) is a new lathe cut record service based in Reykjavik, Iceland, run by mastering engineer Kári Guðmundsson. Using the DinSync NC-V8 record cutting lathe that was unveiled last year at Superbooth 25. They offer small runs of lathe-cut records, typically between 10 and 50 units in either 7-inch, 10-inch or 12-inch formats using 1.5mm thick discs.
