Supersense Mastercut
Supersense in Vienna, Austria, is a unique analogue haven where records are cut in real time, not pressed. Using the Neumann AM-32b lathe to cut Japanese MDC lacquer discs, creating strictly limited audiophile editions of iconic recordings in cooperation with Universal Music Group known as Mastercuts. The Supersense space is curated as a ‘cabinet of curiosities’ of analogue technology, blending a café, print shop, photo lab, and record manufactory.
