Sony Music Solutions

Sony Music Japan opened its vinyl pressing facility in March 2018, marking the first time Sony had pressed vinyl in-house since 1989. The plant primarily focuses on reissues of Japanese albums and some new releases, with a main focus on the Japanese market. They have on-site master lacquer cutting using the vintage Neumann VMS70 lathe and on-site stamper making.
