Sonopress EcoRecord

Sonopress GmbH, the German audio disc producer, introduced the EcoRecord in 2023, and it drastically reduces the manufacturing process’s environmental impact. EcoRecord is produced on new injection-moulding machines developed by Sonopress, with an annual capacity of 2M units. Instead of PVC, recyclable PET is used as the base material. In September 2025, they introduced Inkplosion, creative colour EcoRecords, and NFC chip integration.
