Sky Onion Mastering

Sky Onion Mastering is a Portland, Oregon-based mastering studio run by engineer Gus Elg since 2008. The studio offers high-quality mastering services for vinyl, streaming, and CD releases. Sky Onion features a state-of-the-art lacquer cutting system, using a Neumann SX74 cutter head. The lathe body is a cast aluminium Scully from the 1930s, retrofitted with high-performance upgrades. Extended runtimes and reliable precision are facilitated by a FloKaSon Pitch18 disc cutting computer.
