Opened in 1969 in Frankfurt, Germany, Schallplatten Schneid Technik (SST) operates two fully equipped vinyl cutting studios with Neumann VMS80 lacquer disk cutters, SAL74B amplifier racks, and SP79 mastering consoles. They use Neumann SX74 and MyShank HeLiX23 cutter heads, ensuring precise groove spacing and high-quality audio reproduction. SST offers half-speed cutting, the locked groove and the inside-out cut as special cuts.
