Rakamakafon

Rakamakafon is the first vinyl record pressing plant to open in Bulgaria since 1994. The factory, located in Sofia, opened for business in 2025 and runs the modern German duplex vinyl press from Newbilt, with a planned production capacity of up to 20,000 discs per month. They manufacture 12-inch (with 7-inch and 10-inch to follow) records in 180g weight on black and coloured vinyl from 100 units. The last vinyl press in Bulgaria was the formerly state-owned Balkanton.
