Purple Media

Purple Media is a Chinese vinyl record pressing plant (since 2019) running Pheenix Alpha automatic and M-Tech Allegro Line II pressing machines with a daily capacity of 15,000. It manufactures 7-inch and 12-inch pressings in 140g and 180g weights in black and various coloured options, transparent discs, and picture discs. DMM and Lacquer cutting is available using the Neumann VMS 80 lathe. The minimum press run is 200 units, with a four-week turnaround time.

FRYK is a new vinyl record pressing plant that opened in South Korea in 2024. It runs modern German Newbilt vinyl presses. It manufactures 12-inch vinyl in 180g in black and coloured vinyl options. Turnaround time averages about 8 weeks from receipt of audio and files. There’s a minimum press run of 300 units.
