Perfect Groove

The Perfect Groove Virtual Cutting Lathe is a software tool developed as part of the now-paused HD Vinyl project by Rebeat to predict how audio will be laid out and sound when cut onto vinyl. It models the behaviour of a Neumann VMS 80 lathe computer, aiming to forecast groove geometry and identify potential problem areas before actual cutting. The latest version of Perfect Groove v.2.1.0 is available for free download (Mac & PC) for anyone interested in vinyl cutting.
