Onyx Record Press

Opened in August 2023, LA-based Onyx Record Press was founded by a team of engineers and artists, including Drumce11 and lacquer cutting engineer Gil Tamayzan. The founders have over 25 years of experience in vinyl record manufacturing. Onyx uses the state-of-the-art Pheenix Alpha AD12, pressing 12-inch vinyl from 100 units in standard black and various coloured vinyl options in 164g weight. Mastering and lacquer cutting is done by Capsule Labs using a Neumann VMS 66 lathe.
