NRP Mastering
Nashville Record Productions (NRP) was established in 1967 and was the first independent mastering studio in Nashville (competing with Columbia and RCA). The company, operated by mastering engineer Wes Garland, maintains four operating lacquer cutting lathes, including a completely restored 1955 Scully lathe and a Neumann VMS70 lathe. NRP can make either a vinyl lacquer or Redbook CD master from any format, 1/4inch to hi-res digital.
