Tucson, Arizona-based Michael Dixon is a pioneering vinyl artist renowned for hand-cutting records on vintage lathes and using unconventional materials to create one-of-a-kind audio artefacts. Dixon also repairs, restores, and sells vintage mono record lathes and parts and runs hands-on lathe cut camps for newcomers interested in learning vinyl cutting. He travels the world teaching crowds at events and festivals the secret art of vinyl record production as the Mobile Vinyl Recorders.
