MDC Limited

Founded in Japan in 1981, MDC Limited is the only manufacturer worldwide that produces the 10/12-inch and 14-inch lacquers for master disc cutting. The company’s lacquers are used by pressing plants, master cutting engineers and analogue mastering studios worldwide. These lacquers provide the initial, high-quality surface onto which audio is cut before being electroplated to create stampers for mass vinyl pressing. MDC lacquers are distributed in the UK by Datastores Protape.
