Since its founding in the mid-1980s, New Jersey-based Mastercraft has emerged as one of the rare U.S. facilities specialising in the intricate art and science of vinyl record plating and stamper production. The company serves as a crucial bridge between mastering studios and pressing plants, transforming lacquer masters into the precision metal stampers that make vinyl record pressing possible. Each stamper can press approximately 1000 vinyl records before degrading.
