Makbas Records
Jordan’s first-ever pressing plant, Makbas Records, plans to launch in Amman in early 2027. One of the main problems Makbas hopes to address is the expense and difficulty of pressing records overseas. Makbas aims to make vinyl manufacturing more accessible to artists and labels across the MENA region. Using the Viryl WarmTone with a daily capacity of up to 1000 records, they’ll be offering coloured vinyl, hand-pours, biovinyl, 7-inch and 12-inch (140/180g) options.
