Kommunal Dubplate Service

Kommunal Dubplate Service is a recording, vinyl mastering, and lacquer-cutting studio based in Copenhagen, Denmark, established in 2008 by DJ Havd, aka Shankar Kishore. The studio is recognised as the only dedicated lacquer-cutting service in the country and uses a vintage Scully vinyl-cutting lathe, previously owned by Manmade Mastering in Berlin.  It’s located at Støberiet local culture commune in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen.
