Green Vinyl Records

Eight Dutch companies have developed an environmentally friendly alternative production process for vinyl records. This process is based on the injection moulding principle instead of pressing. Harmful PVC is replaced by eco-friendly PET, and the smart injection moulding process uses 90% less energy than a conventional vinyl pressing plant. This creates a faster manufacturing process and has less environmental impact.
