Furnace Record Pressing

Pressing vinyl since 2017, Furnace Record Pressing is a state-of-the-art vinyl pressing plant in Alexandria, Virginia. They are running 12 Pheenix Alpha automatic presses and four manual Newbilt presses. They have a daily capacity of 25k+ records, pressing 7/10-inch and 12-inch in 140-gram and 180-gram, in colour vinyl, as well as picture discs, splatter vinyl and effect vinyl. They added an in-house plating lab in 2025. Metallica acquired the majority interest in Furnace in 2023.
