Emil Berliner Studios
Berlin-based Emil Berliner Studios has over 100 years of experience in analogue record cutting, contributing significantly to the development of vinyl technology from early wax discs to modern audiophile half-speed cuts. They use a modified Neumann VMS 80 cutting lathe with Ortofon cutting amplifiers, working from analogue master tapes or digital files. As one of the very few studios worldwide, they offer direct-to-disc recordings where the audio is recorded directly on a lacquer disc.
