Dubplates & Mastering

Dubplates & Mastering is a highly respected audio mastering and studio based in Berlin, established in 1995 by the influential Techno duo Basic Channel. Run by Kassian Troyer and Benjamin Ziel since 2022, the studio has become an institution in the electronic music scene, renowned for its expertise and mastery in both digital and analogue formats, particularly lacquer cutting for vinyl (using the classic Neumann VMS70 lathe). Mastering engineers include Anne Taegert and Ruy Marine.
