DinSync NC-V8

The DinSync NC-V8 is a specialised, consumer-oriented desktop acoustic lathe designed for cutting stereo records or mono embossing at home, developed by Paul Barker in Sweden. Launched in mid-2025, the gantry-style system sits on a high-torque turntable and allows enthusiasts to produce their own records/dubplates. To get started, you’ll need to provide an amplifier, EQ, sound source, stylus, and blank media. It’ll retail for around £1400/$1882.
