BLM Studio

BLM Studio is the largest lacquer cutting studio in Paris, France, specialising in vinyl mastering and lacquer cutting (done on the classic Neumann VMS-80 lathe). Originally founded as TOP Master, the studio has evolved into a major European player, mastering over 4,000 vinyl releases in 2024 alone. The studio is led by Gérard Poirier, a veteran with two decades at MPO, one of the world’s largest vinyl manufacturers. He also co-founded the Vinyl De Paris pressing plant.
