Launched in 2012, 16kHz Custom Records is a vinyl record pressing company based in Oakland, California, and is the Bay Area’s only pressing plant. The company specialises in highly customisable, visually striking 7-inch picture disc records that utilise digital printing, enabling features such as glow-in-the-dark effects and multiple artwork variants. They focus on minimising environmental impact by utilising an all-electric, proprietary manufacturing method.
