I have been talking about Toyo Kasei - Great Pressing Company in Japan a lot. This time, I just wanted to share with you very touching behind the scene story of this great pressing company in Japan. Enjoy!

Mal Waldron came to Japan for the 1st time in 1970. But at that time, he just came for a tour sight seeing, visiting shrines and temples. But he liked Japan so much and came back again the fillowing year. But now, he planned to tour Japan performing. These 2 albums are the live session at that time in 1971. In Live 1, TBM popular jazz musicians like Isao Suzuki on bass and Kosuke Mine on alto joined Mal. Wow...the recording condition and sound quality are amazingly superb! Unfortunately, these live albums are not known to most of jazz collectors outside of Japan... In case you don't know them, it is better for you to get them!
