Vinylverkstedet

Based in Bergen, Norway, Vinylverkstedet (The Vinyl Workshop) is the world’s first school with a fully fledged vinyl production plant, using the German-made Newbilt press. Part of the Hyssingen Produksjonsskole (Production School) here, school dropouts get a second chance by learning the art of vinyl pressing. Together with the German pressing plant Matter of Fact, they’re developing a curriculum for aspiring machine operators in vinyl pressing plants to set international standards.
